What is this?
If you come to this website, you might be wondering what is going on here. Well first off, welcome to my site. It is a collection of stuff about two primary things, our travels in our RV and about my Role-playing Game hobby, which at this point I am attempting to do some stuff while we traveling.

It is the wife's birthday today. Not sure what I can do since we are on the road full time. Of course this has been an issue since the start of the pandemic, I can simply go out and get her something as a gift. Not to mention I'm not sure what to get her. I need to come up with things I can do for her without going and getting something.
I am also getting a lot of bug bites from something. No idea from what but I am finding one or two new ones each day.

Discovered that the cabling from the MPTT Controller to the battery was melting at the controller location. I think the cabling was not so good. Had to remove it and cut the solar cable shorter to use that as the battery cables. This means I will have to move the charge controller mounting closer to the solar cables. Will have to keep an eye on it.
I fear I may have to replace the MPTT Controller.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. We had some gusts of wind in the afternoon and a few clouds moved in later. I have a few bug bites from something on my left wrist, behind my right ear, my right ankle and 2 on my right forearm near my elbow. No idea what could be attacking us. Outside of a few flies I haven't really seen much in the way of insects. So it is sort of odd that we are both getting bitten. I'll have to see if the wife has any new bites this morning.
Finally joined the Prescott 1300 Net Via my HT on High Power today.

Today is the start of the 3rd day of being nomadic. I was going to start this journal yesterday but got tied up with work. I also could not decide if I wanted something written or to do some sort of video journal. This format won because I could easily do it each morning for a few minutes. So here is a run down so far of our travels.
May 23, we left the old house and headed up to Prescott. It was an odd feeling knowing that was it for us there. We thought we knew where we were going to end up so we had lunch at place in Prescott. However, each of the places we went to was lacking cell signal. Even a place we went to before that did have signal. all of a sudden didn't have signal. We were going to go to Flagstaff until I notice we hit national forest land and there was someone pulled off on one of the roads it seemed. We took the next road in the dark (thankfully it was near full moon) and we found a pull off to stay for the night. Needless to say we were all tired.

May 24, we discovered the road that the spot we were at lead to a ranch, so there were not other areas there. It also seemed the pull off was used as a shooting range for people based on the amount of spent brass and the remains of targets. There was a single trailhead earlier but that's it. Barb spent the day in the truck looking for another spot with signal. She was burnt out by the time she came back, but she did find one other spot that we moved to that afternoon.
May 25, I'm not 100% sure this spot is for camping but as long as no one bothers us, we will be here at least through the Memorial Day Weekend before we head up to Flagstaff. It's sad but right now it seems like while Prescott has easy access to water and dump, they have not camp sites that have cell signal for us. Flagstaff has a few spots (I can remember at least 2) but the water and dump situation is a bit different.
