What is this?
If you come to this website, you might be wondering what is going on here. Well first off, welcome to my site. It is a collection of stuff about two primary things, our travels in our RV and about my Role-playing Game hobby, which at this point I am attempting to do some stuff while we traveling.

Yesterday was a busy day. Neither of us really wanted to get up and start it Sadly, we needed to get on things. We a list of things to do. The top item was going to the RV Dump. After that we found a Frey Meyers Grocery store, did a bunch of hand laundry, the wife shopped for groceries, then we RV Dumped again. and finally we headed out to our next site in Shelton, Washington. We got at our host's site about 730pm.
One thing we did find there is that we might need the generator. The mostly cloudy and tree canopy that we have here seems to indicate we will need to run it to top off the batteries. So later today, we will need to go to gas station for some fuel. We really have not needed it some much this trip. I think it has only been about four times in the last two and half months. So we really have not been thinking about the filling the gas can at all. Heck even when we did, it was only a gallon or so.

Our time on Bainbridge Island came to end yesterday. While we enjoyed the island, there just was not a large number of places for us to eat at. Not to mention almost everything seemed to close about 8pm. At any rate it was time to move on.
We did a a quick RV Dump at a 76 Station. This one was also Free. I have to say I am glad there are still some free RV dumps around. At some people I expect them all to go away.
We then moved on to a different Boondockers Welcome site. This one is really nice. They have power and water right at the location they want you to park. Actually they have two places for people. It's sort like a mini park I guess, although this place is not charging for water nor power. My internet here is good with hotspot, although I think their profile said they had WiFi. We will only be here until Sunday then we move on to a new spot for five night stay. Hard to believe we are almost halfway through the month.

Well we had a good rest at the last spot in Auburn, WA near Tacoma, WA. Certainly something we needed to have. I still no have no idea why the hotspot was so slow. I am just glad I was able to make things work there.
Saturday, we did the long drive to Bainbridge Island. We have a five day Boondockers Welcome site here. The wife did a crazy parking job. Personally, I have no idea how the hell we are going to get out of here, but that is a problem for another day.
Yesterday, we did a little bit of kayaking in Eagle Harbor since our Hosts had some kayaks we could borrow. The wife has been wanting to try kayaking for a while. While interesting, I think she is glad we did not spend any money renting kayaks,
Time to work here for the next few days until Thursday.

Left our Boondockers Welcome spot in Olympia. We sort of hated to go. It was a great spot with some very welcoming people there. The neighbors across the street had a garden we got a ton of stuff from it.
Our new spot near Tacoma, WA. The cell signal here is not so good but at least I can still work for the most part. It is weird that upload is faster than the download, but at long as I can work, then I am going to call it good. In general, we not a fan of Tacoma. Still this is a good place to rest, relax, and regroup for our next stay.
On the way here we noticed that our secondary water storage tank got something in it. So we had to drain it and wash it. We need to keep a better eye on it and make sure we use the water in there so it does not get funky again.

We finally moved on from our Boondockers Welcome site yesterday. We decided to stop at the Silver Falls State Park near Salem to use the RV dump there near there. It took us about 60 total miles out of our way. The wife was not thrilled about that.
We managed to drive a little through Portland, about an hour and half behind scheule. We got to see quite a bit of the homeless encampments that have cropped up everywhere. We are not sure if they even have a plan to deal with them, the city has really turn to crap as far as we could tell in just less than six years (which is the last time we were here).
We finallly stopped at the Scatter Creek Safety Stop for the night. The most unique thing here is that they have 3 lanes for RV Dumps. So three people can be dumping at one time. This morning it was overcast and I was little worried that the batteries would not charge. It's almost noon and there is a little more sunlight coming out and that seems to be charging the batteries just fine for now.
Later this afternoon, we move up towards Olympia to our two night stay at our next Boondocker's Welcome Host
